[snip] >HOWEVER, your point > is well taken, and I do apologise if I came across at all as conceited, or > disloyal to them. No need, and no you didn't. It was a great story to share among friends and fellow photographers in the way you do when you happen to get together. However - and my post may be read as my personal reflections about this issue - how should one look upon communications on lists such as this one, as well as on the web as a whole or particular websites as such? In a way they are public, but in another way, and in the way we may normally think about it, it's not public like it would be in statements made in a newspaper, a magazine, on the radio or on television. I guess it's not likely that just anyone outside this list will read what's being said here, but if bad comes to worse, things may turn out in a way they were not intended to. >Even so, I still maintain that it was a very interesting, > and at times, downright hilarious experience, Yes, it was! Thanks for sharing. I was just wondering about chances for it to lead a bit too far, just because of the fun in it. >and one that I will most certainly learn from! Lasse
