faster processing at shutter speeds longer than 1/4 second since that is when it kicks in. however, you had better have a replacement noise reduction program on your computer since your images won't look like anything you would want to keep otherwise. Pentax Photolab doesn't allow you to do after the fact noise reduction, so it has to be a 3rd party program.
