First, it's good to know that you stick to chicken and eschew beef.
Then, this right angle finder thing - it's on topic.
A right angle finder, also known as a refconverter, is an auxiliary
eyepiece that attaches the the camera's eyepiece and acts something
like a periscope, allowing one to view straight down through the
eyepiece. Pentax makes several versions, two or three for various
K-mount cameras. One allows a view of 2X magnification through the
finder - very nice for critical focussing if you're using fast
glass.
Go here http://www.phred.org/pentax/k/focusing/index.html to see
examples of the various refconverters that Pentax offers.
