There is a guy auctioning an "ME Super overhaul" on Ebay. So I emailed him with some questions, and he seems knowledgable and the prices he quoted me are good. Here's his response about repairing the pop-up flash on a PZ1p: he says he can repair it, though it involves rebuilding the spring detente which is a molded part of the body casing. Also says he hasn't got any returns on this repair yet, because his method makes a solid repair. His estimated price was $40 US. He says he is experienced in repairing the LX. Repair of a Pentax LX, to include CLA/seals, would most likely run $60, plus $15 for return shipping (shipping cost is high because of high insurance.) Here's his contact info: Klaus Garcia 543 Oxford Street #2 Chula Vista, CA 91911 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ...oh yeah, the parting comment in his email to me qualifies him as an honorary PDML member. He wrote: "PS: Long live Pentax (and they do)." -- Happy Trails, Texdance http://members.fortunecity.com/texdance http://members1.clubphoto.com/john8202 - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
