Hi Ann,
I have several hundred 78 rpm records. The earliest is a Caruso recording from 1903. In those days they tracked one side only. They play very nicely on my old Brunswick console.

Bill that is SUPER! I'm green with envy. I did get myself a GE portable at a
flea market
for $40.00 that plays LP's and 78's and 45's - But my records only date back to
the
40's. I used to go out with a man who was a ghost writer and collector of
20's and 30's records. Danny Styles came by his apartment one day to borrow some
when I was there (this was up maybe 1979?) Rather odd fellow, but he sure played
nice stuff on the radio :)
