I have done similar tests too. Even Zeiss lenses fall a bit short of the
best Pentax multicoating.  Zeiss and Pentax jointly developed
multicoating but, obviously, their developments diverged at some point
and Pentax has enjoyed more success in their Ghostless coatings. Don't
get me wrong, Zeiss T* coatings are very good, indeed, just a tiny bit
behind the best of Pentax. At least in my opinion, which sometimes lacks
a little humility. <g>
