Just got back from Christmas with the kids and ex.

Today, we went to a movie. It was Cheaper By The Dozen. It was okay for what it was. But, this isn't a film review.

Early in the movie, Steve Martin's character takes a "family portrait". They show a quick look at the camera. I'm sure it's a Pentax.

A few seconds later, a nice long (like several seconds) look at it reveals that indeed it was a Pentax, an MZ 50, to be exact. I'm guessing it could only be there as something arranged between Pentax and the film's producers (or whoever), as a product placement.

If so, good on Pentax.

Either way, for some odd reason, I was glad to see it there.

Well, I just got back from a 4 hour bus trip, and I feel like going to bed. I'll catch up on over 350 posts tomorrow. Hope you all had a good Christmas, as I did.

cheers,
frank
