Well, I'll have to ask my wife to try for me. Reason below if you are a cat
lover.

Malcolm

**Kevin**

We've had him for about 3 years now but are uncertain of his real age. We
bought him as a companion for our other Siamese cat who sadly died only
months after he we brought his friend home. The woman who sold us Kevin,
said she needed the money and he was about 18 months old. We drove to a
South London address on a big estate littered with burnt out cars and I
wondered if I was going to see my car again when I got back. The alleyways
leading to the flat were littered with needles. The flat was piled up with
black refuse sacks, she was clearly on drugs, and we were led to small room
where this poor half starved bag of bones was, who didn't like his owner one
bit. She didn't make any small talk and just wanted cash - did we want 'it'
or not. There was no questions asked about where he might be going etc - we
could have been using him for soup for all she cared. Despite the fact he
was older than as described and a cross breed, I couldn't leave him there,
so I paid her and left. I suspect this was the first time in years that he
had left that room.

It took about a year for him to get back to his proper weight and health. It
took months before he would let anyone touch him at all. Three years on and
he has just started to learn to play. He's fine with women and children, but
he is still terrified of men. Some people shouldn't be allowed to keep pets.
I'm glad we got him.
