It's more than "fun" - yet not profitable for me. I'm too much of a maverick
to set up a business properly for mundane work. I'm too much of a coward
to have ever wanted to be a photo-journalist.

Despite a book and a bunch of shows, a few awards and being in a stock agency,
I've never had
a year of profit from my stuff - partly my lack of salespersonship, I suspect.
Never
charged enough for weddings or prints - too egalitarian, moi. Too lazy to send
stock out frequently because of all the scut work involved.

But it is a passion, and it is funny how the things I've done just for me,
kinda, turned
out to be those things that I did get more than personal satisfaction from.(
I'll post
a quick line separately about that, so as not to muck up threads :) )

I'm easily discouraged by rejection, too. Sigh.

So put me in the non-profit camp.
