You'll have to admit there are serious limitations to just setting these cameras to auto mode and letting them determine the exposures. The LX, in the situation you described, within certain parameters, is excellent. In fact, that's pretty much why I have an LX. But in a more typical situation, it's just as bad as any other cw meter.
