Thanks for the pics, Tanya. Christmas in the Southern Hemisphere kind of looks like....well...Christmas in the Northern Hemisphere. With the exclusion of course of the water going the opposite way when the toilet is flushed <g>. Seriously, there is a summer brightness and lightness that makes it distinctively different. I was down there once for New Years Eve, and it reminded me of our USA midsummer holiday, the Fourth of July. I especially liked photo "N," the young boy kissing his sister on the forhead. Good catch. And Happy New Year to you and your delightful family.

OT - but just wanted to post a little page that I put up for family and
friends (so you guys qualify there!), of Christmas, Fairygirl style... I
thought that you guys in the Northern Hemisphere in particular, would be
most interested to see the contrasts in the way we celebrate our Christmas
here in Oz, in comparison to yours up there... I think it was Paul who
mentioned this? You'll all be glad to know that we didn't get sunburnt, but
had PLENTY of opportunity for it, had we not been careful...

Sorry, folks, no pics of me in this lot, I was too busy BEHIND the camera!
(and cleaning up the Christmas aftermath!)...

Some shots taken with Pentax equipment, but not many as I am still waiting
on films to come back. Most were taken with my new digital enablement, that
isn't *sigh* a Pentax... But LOTS of fun, nevertheless...
