I expect that for that price, it is a wet process machine. William Robb The Fuji Print pix we have is a dry system. No chemicals nor water like the Fuji Aladdin. It uses a special paper and UV light to create the image. It has about the color range of a dye-sub print i.e. not quite as vibrant as a good wet or ink jet print.
