The thing is fun to use, and at this stage of my life I can afford some flights of fancy. When I went downtown to see the ist D, I was expecting a digital MZ-S of some sort, and was quite prepared to hate it since that was my reaction to the MZ-S. I was very surprised to find myself buying it within a few minutes of picking it up. My objection to the camera from the start was the loss of lens compatability. When I picked it up, I guess I decided that wasn't such an important issue after all. William Robb
