Oh. Oh my. I've done that, too. Hallowe'en costume a couple of
years ago -- nappies (do you have any idea how many diapers one
has to layer atop one another to get the visual effect just right
for "big baby" instead of "adult in nappies"? Takes a lot of
padding to get the proportions right), footed sleeper, "diaper bag"
that was holding film and lenses, pacifier on a string around my
neck, bottle, toy stuffed animal -- I went down to Fells Point
(a neighbourhood in Baltimore with lots of bars, and where the big
crowd forms on Hallowe'en) to mingle with the crowd and photograph
other folks' costumes.
Interestingly, two girlfriends and someone I had a crush on really
liked that costume.
Well there goes the smart-ass remark I was contemplating...
