On the same note, I would say one of my top ten
favorite poems ever
was Auden's SEPTEMBER 1, 1939.  Some time in the
70's I read a NY Times
Mag section article on him where the interviewer
mentioned it and Auden replied
"Oh, I don't feel that way anymore."
