So, most people here know that my comments are basically useless. Well, not useless, I suppose I do know a little bit about photography; what I mean is that I really don't know how to critique. So, take my comments worth a grain of salt. If something I say makes you happy, or helps you in some way, terrific. If I slag your picture, and you think I'm completely out to lunch, well, you may well be right. Or, I may be right. Who knows?
Point is, I don't want to ruffle anyone's feathers, or upset anyone. OTOH, I'm not going to say something is good if I don't think it is. That wouldn't be fair to the ones I really like, would it? If I do find something I don't like, I'll try to articulate what it is.
And, if you disagree with me, even if it isn't your photo, please, feel free to let me know. I'll always stand corrected if I'm shown to be inaccurate. Just like Herb's Sea Anenome. We worked it out! <vbg>
I've got to say that I'm finding this to be a very useful exercise for me! Looking at other photos critically, and articulating those criticisms, is a great way to look at my own photos with a more critical eye.
Anyway, I guess the main thrust of all this is that I'm just trying to be fair in what I'm doing here - hopefully everyone here would know that of me anyway. And, next time I decide to do this, I'm first going to check that it's a smallish gallery! <vbg>
