Frank, my wife and I went with a couple of friends in their thirties (yeah, I know, but she's beautiful!) and we all enjoyed it. Bill gives a very subtle, wry performance, and Scarlet Johansson is a good foil as the young woman. Not schmaltzy, hilarious in parts, and a valid commentary on modern (Japanese) society.
