Shot the moon though the clouds last night with my *ist D in combo with my 
A*300/2.8 + 1.4X-L + AF Adapter 1.7X on a monster Manfrotto tripod. Even with 
the stack of TCs the moon covers only 26.5% of the full width of the frame. At 
EI200 the one of the better exposures though the light cloud cover was 1/50 @ 
f11, a slightly cropped and resized version can be seen in the link following:
