Taking the lead from Rob, here are two shots of the moon from just an hour
or so ago.  One was made with the ist-D, Sigma 300/4 with Sigma 2x and 1.4x
TCs and is pretty heavily cropped. ISO 400, F9.0 @ 1/100

The other was made with ist-D, Sigma 400/5.6 (a really old manual focus
version that is kinda cheap feeling) with 2x and 1.4x Sigma TCs. ISO 400 F11

I'd say Rob's image was sharper and better.  I had the tripod set up on a
wooden deck and think there was a lot of vibration/camera shake.
