A friend of mine bought the Colorvision Spyder about a year ago. He let me borrow it to calibrate my monitor and the results were fantastic. He also has some gear to calibrate scanners and printers which I will use at some point, to get my workflow properly set up from start to finish. Now I just need to buy a version of Photoshop that actually supports colour management (my old version 5.0LE - the precursor to Elements - doesn't).
