I wasn't talking about the look on her face, which is indeed as you described it. I saw "a look" quite independant of her facial expression. Maybe it's the wrinkles; maybe they just make her look old, and that makes me think she's perhaps had a hard life, and many experiences that would be completely foreign to me.
Like I said, just a feeling...
