(And with a 1.5x crop-factor DSLR, that light falloff in the corners should be a lot less evident.)
That has been my assumption, too, with APS-sized sensors. But, has anyone confirmed that this is indeed so?
If it wasn't the case, we'd be rewriting the laws of geometry round about now...
