No, I don't know where you read that. However.... Because of the prism overhang, you want to put a short extension tube onto the camera before mounting the bellows. Alternately, you can remove the mount from the bellows, put it onto the camera, and then put the bellows onto the mount. After that, it is just a matter of finding a lens/lens to focal plane/slide to lens length combination that will allow for full frame viewing. The slide duplicator attachment rod is somewhat too short to allow the slide to be far enough away from the lens to allow this with the equipment I have, so I tossed a close up lens on to make up the difference.
