Ok, so in light of the mess I loaded the last digest with, due to me
forgetting to turn off MIME on my OE, I have sentenced myself to do Penance.
My Penance is to exhibit the photos that my son took of me, and to not
whinge about how shocking I look or how bad my skin is in the
shots...Oooops, did I say that? hehehe.
Just to keep on topic, these were taken on an MZ-50 with that Tamron 135mm
lens we have just spent the past three days trying to work out. FYI, wanna
know how I "metered" the "scene" (which is where I wanted Jaimyn to sit so I
could shoot him)? Because I don't have a handheld meter, I put my 50mm lens
on my camera, metered where I wanted to shoot TTL, set the controls and then
swapped lenses back to the 135mm! I am well aware that this is a procedure
that only a woman could see the logic in, however, despite the crappy
subject of these photos, the exposure is pretty good! BTW, The hotspot on
Jaimyn's face in the last shot is nowhere near as bad in print. So have a
look and let me know if you think my son has any talent as a budding
photographer! Remember, he is not yet three years old! Move your cursor
over each picture to read the caption attached to it and follow the
story.... I am sure you will all agree, that I missed my calling, I really
should have been a photo journalist....;-)
