Short answer:  they probably license the technology from Google

Brief overview:  They look up "DA 16-45" in their index, and find all
the places that talk about it.  Then they look at all the other things
that are mentioned along with DA 16-45, and pick the most popular of
those (in this case, almost certainly the keyword "Pentax"). Finally
they search their advertiser list for occurrences of that keyword.
