No famous fake here, in a similar vein, Porter's new
catalogue (p.26)and online at

 lists the Promaster  2500PK.  $140 w/50mmlens. 
Strange but cheep. Takes PK mount lenses, has
dept-of-field preview, TTL meter with 3 LED exposure
indicator, totally manual SLR. I don't know origin of
promaster products.
