I am not sure it's as good as the split screen for macro, which is why I am priming the ME Super for this (but it's not TTL flash and thus does not exploit the capabilities of the 080C). Just to clarify: the split (and any) screen is not incompatible with AF, just deemed unnecessary, right? Many thanks (to Frantisek for his detailed answer too). Kostas
