Hi Dan and all,
My girlfriend and I took a drive on Sunday to a bird-watching area near Rome.
Heading north the sky got more and more cloudy, then badly overcast. I had in
the backpack only few Velvias but, luckily, I put in an Ektachrome E200 too.
Only a roll to burn (I should have carried the tripod...), but the shots
should be fine (I'll know soon), even with such a bad light. I put in the
backpack the Z-1p with the FA 50/1.4, the K 24/2.8, the KA 70-210/4 and the K
300/4, plus the rear converter KA 1,4x-S, never used before except for few
tests.
Not so many birds as expected but the ones we saw were nice (I take few shots
of an emu chased by a bunch of children and parents trying to let the poor
bird pose for them...).
Too bad we didn't decide to go on Saturday... One of the nicest days I've ever
seen...
Gianfranco
