You can find a rudimentary form of aggregating images per photographer in the PUG directory link. Displaying them as a mini-gallery with thumbnails, as well as searching by equipment / content requires a dynamic site - no question about it. There already is a database of photographers and relative URLs to images I maintain for the directory purpose. A dynamic site distinct from komkon could be a solution even if not the best. Otherwise the komkon maintainers stated clearly they do not agree with dynamic pages generated on their site.
