In Win98: 1) Put a flash card in the reader. 2) Open the "System" icon in the Control Panel. 3) Double click on the "Device Manager" icon. 4) Find the CF card "drive" in the Device Manager. 5) Right click on the CF drive and choose "Properties". 6) Click on the "Settings" tab in the dialog box. 7) Uncheck the "Auto insert notification" box and click "OK".
