Quite cheap is a good price for this hunk o'glass.

I've got one and have not been too pleased with it.

First, it's soft at the wide ends - from about 90mm - 120mm it's nice.

It has a lot of barrel and pincushion distortion once you've moved from the
middle focal lengths. Not a good lens at all for architectural shots.

A lot of people on this list have said they liked this lens, argued with me
about sharpness, and then, later, agreed that it had lots of distortion and
suggested that maybe it could be used for portraits. I'd agree with the
portrait possibilities.
