Mark,

15 miles is a good run in that cold. That's about the equivalent of a 60 mile ride. A good balaclava is indespensible. I wear one with a toque over it, and it makes a world of difference. Keeps the cheeks and chin warm.

I just wish I could keep my feet dry when the salt on the roads turns the snow to slush at -20C. Ick.

Tomorrow could be fun (literally). They're talking another 6 inches of snow during the day. I love riding in fresh snow. Gotta remember to bring my little Minolta HiMatic F - haven't brought it along on snowy days yet. "In traffic, in a snowstorm, with a camera". Yeah, baby!

18 degrees in Pittsburgh this morning. I went out for a run and it
wasn't too bad, though I wished I'd have something to cover the lower
half of my face when I was running into the (light) wind. After 15 miles
my face was kinda frozen but the rest of me was fine.
