I use Windows 98 SE, but have had to kludge together a workaround to get 
images into it. W98SE is supposed to be able to read an external drive. 
Some installations do. Others (like mine) have trouble. Still, I have 
gotten it to work.

You can't connect the *ist D directly to the PC. Pentax doesn't supply a 
driver for W95 or 98. You can, though, connect the CF card or micro 
drive through an adapter. I have a Lexar 1 GB, which came with its own 
adapter.
