Just think, I could be a millionaire now. OTOH, were I a millionaire, I'd have a stable of Canons, and wouldn't be here.

Canon is going to announce a small, inexpensive, hand-cranked digital camera for sale primarily in third world countries. The principle is similar to the Grundig hand cranked emergency radio:

although Canon will completely eliminate the batteries, allowing for a smaller camera, lower cost, greater environmental responsibility, and the ability to photograph in the most obscure places.
