I know what you mean and are saying here Bob. I am amazed at the number of people who
think the 
only way to shoot horses(as i do)is to trip the shutter for 2-3 seconds and HOPE they 
get
something 
usefull.
I only resort to that method when its needed. Most of the "pro" equine shooters i know 
who
still do film 
press the button once. The newer digi guys press and hold then spend 30-40 seconds 
reveiew
and 
deleting.
If i can get the shot i want in the light i want,one will do. Extreame action calls for
extreme shooting 
sometimes,then i will do it.Having the option to instantly review the series can help 
me
make up my mind 
how to shoot something better with out bursting if possible.
Personal preference i suppose.
