Tanya, I just helped my housemate buy a pair of Saxon 10-30 x 50 Zoom Binoculars for slightly more than AUD200 from centre.net.au and the transaction was rather painless. However, when the item arrived it couldn't focus properly so I had to send it back. On centre.net.au's site there's a return policy which suggests they'll send a courier to pick the item up, but I was told to contact the supplier directly. So after a few phonecalls I was told to send the thing in to the supplier directly for an exchange. Unfortunately, I had to pay for about 20 dollars worth of postage, not to mention a couple of dollars for the packaging. So anyway, it's already done, and despite an email to centre.net.au highlighting this annoyance, I didn't get a reply. Maybe it's the sort of thing that happens but it's really annoying. I still don't know whether I want to be a 'damn it's that stupid customer again' and nag them til I get an some kind of explanation and a typical business type half-hearted apology which I won't know what to do with. Sigh..
Ryan PS. Met up with John Coyle over the weekend for a pleasant cup of coffee. He's nearer than I thought! Perhaps a literal 3 stone throws away. Looking forward til end Feb! ;-) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tanya Mayer Photography" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, February 07, 2004 6:49 AM Subject: Interesting *istD deal... > Ryan, btw, the CR Kennedy guy HIGHLY recommended www.centre.net.au - he > said that they were "really lovely people" and that they "really care for > their customers".
