Hi Tanya - it's a pretty good lens in my experience. Noticeable barrel distortion at the widest focal length, as you would expect, but sharp at one stop down across the frame. Focuses quickly and accurately on the MZ5 and the MZ-S. The lens was superseded by the 17-35 from Sigma about 18 months ago, and I got it from Photo Continental at $300 off! Just one of those lucky bargains, bought when I just happened to check their clearance room one day. You're welcome to try it any time: I've sent you a scan of a frame taken with it off-list.
