I have friends who have PhDs, I started out on that road and realized at the end of it lay madness. I think I should know but... Ok, I'll bite, how do you tell a mathematician from a physicist?

Urk? I feel like there's another half of that that I should be familiar with.
Me, I never got around to finishing my B.S., but I've _dated_ PhDs. Does that count? (Neither was math though. One ex-girlfriend was neurobiology and the other psychology.)
