Hi all, I'm still off the list, but there are some pictures posted at:
http://kotisivu.mtv3.fi/edfw/test2/index.htm that might be interesting to some members. Some of the crystal pictures were taken with an ME Super, but the high resolution images of diatoms are non-Pentax. However they are interesting and show resolution that is close to the theoretical limit for visible light microscopy i.e.. the spacing of lines or pores on a diatom -- the long thin one -- A pellucida. The lines are ~ 0,27 um (micrometres) apart.
