Finally managed to go shooting for close to an hour this morning! Pulled off the road and walked up and down the shoulder while keeping one eye peeled for cell phone drivers. This heavily wooded and overgrown lot gives me the creeps when I drive past it, and walking along it isn't much better--halfway expected to find a body or parts of one. <g> However, conditions were perfect (heavy overcast and cool) and I found half a dozen species I haven't shot and probably a dozen I have. It was a very satisfying morning. If I get the chance, I'm going back tomorrow or Sunday with the tripod and a greater assortment of lenses. Today, all I had was the FA 100/2.8 macro and two rolls of Superia 400. Thanks again to everyone who shared their photo stories with me last weekend.
