I have 2 different setups. For both I use an AF360FGZ for
illumination.

One is a bellows M with a slide copier attachment. I have modified the
mount to tell the camera that it is a lens set to A and I need to make
sure that I set it to minimum aperture before use. I use my FA50f1.4
reverse mounted which allows me to zoom into a small part of the slide
or the whole slide. I need to stop down to f22 to get the whole image
in focus as the 1.4 is known for not having a flat field of focus. an
f2.0 would probably be better, but I don't own one.

The other is a Minolta slide copier and macro focusing rail using a
Sigma 50mm f2.8 macro A lens. I can't zoom down quite as much but it
gives me more control over positioning of the slide for crop shots.
