It looks as though CSI: Miami have got a technical consultant who understands something about photography!
Instead of seeing infinite enlargements from a digital camera they showed a film-based camera, and there was visible grain shown on the extreme enlargements! Amazing! Not everything was right, of course - the film cassette I saw was red and white, which didn't match any decent film I know. (And there was only one cassette and camera - for a paparazzi?) And there's no way the lenses they showed could have taken the shots we saw. I don't know what the lens was (although it was decent quality - it had a big fat front element, perhaps 135/2.8) But you'd need 400mm or so for the shots they were using. Another interesting thing was the fact that the camera shown in a couple of closeups was a Nikon F100 - a non-USA camera.
