I know. I'm pretty sure it's a pre-Spotmatic. The movie came out in '64, so the Spotmatic probably hadn't been released when they were filming. I can't remember the "pre-Spotmatic" Pentax SLR's - H1? H3?

You're right, it definitely doesn't say "Spotmatic" on the front of the top plate, so it can't be one.
