You are right. My local Pentax dealer (Ballard Camera) called Pentax USA while I was in the store and they don't have any right now. A shipment is expected this week or early next week and one of those is allocated for me (and should be sent airmail to my dealer). I'll report back once I have one. Kenmore Camera in Seattle also has these on order and is supposed to give me a call when they arrive. Now if only I could find a local dealer of Crumpler bags who actually carries the backpacks. They seem to have some nice photo/laptop backpacks that would be great for travel, but the local dealers only carry the shoulder bags. I'd like to check out the various backpack models in person. alex
