What do the Software (not firmware) updates add? Is it simply support for the newer EXIF format, or have they made some needed improvements to the actual functioning of the programs? I still use Nikon View (or gqview under linux) to browse *istD pictures because the Nikon program is much more mature. Hopefully whatever DSLR from pentax comes out next will include improved software bundled with it. I'm contemplating writing my own linux picture desk software since nothing I've used does exactly what I want, but it is a hell of a project. DJE
