Full moon sky and powerful aurora (of the sort that light up the landscape green)
exposure time at F:4 with Provia F should be around 90s. For dark condition and rather
weak aurora exposure time may be from 10-20 minutes.
Like it is now with half moon I would say that 125s with Provia F and F:4 should be
about right.
I see that the Canadian aurora page insist that there has been stormy (magnetic storm)
condition the last six hours. But I've been out the last three hours and there's
nothing! They now forcast a major storm warning for the next six hour. Unfortunately
theres a real storm coming here and its clouding over.
