As for lens speed, let's see: 35mm/1.2 is available; 50mm/1.0; 75mm/1.4; 90mm/2.0 While none of us here were there, and don't know what the shooting environment was, it might be worth pointing out that f2.8 zooms on SLR's are not the least bit subtle, and that with a little planning and creativity, shorter, faster lenses might be a possibility. But there is, on this list, and in the field of photography in general, a heavy reliance on the blunderbuss style of photography ... and that's just fine if it works for you. Maybe you need a big zoom from where you're situated, but maybe you can get closer, too.
