A minor correction - the ME Super also has a top shutter speed of 1/2000. It's the ME that only goes up to 1/1000.

The Super Program/Super A is the more advanced camera taking A lenses.
It has TTL flash metering (way ahead of it's time) and a 1/2000 shutter.
It takes a 3.5 fps motor drive A. It shoots in aperture or shutter speed priority,
besides being capable of full program mode or manual. The grip is a bit more ergonomic.
The LCD in the viewfinder is good.
The .8 magnification ideal for eyeglass wearers.

The ME Super is an improved ME, aperture priority plus a full manual mode. No TTL flash and a top speed of 1/1000th. Only takes a 2 fps winder. No ergonomic grip. Viewfinder is big and bright, but this can be a problem for eyeglass wearers (I have to purposely check all 4 corners of the viewfinder moving my eye before something creep in that I don't want). It is the most quiet of Pentax cameras...low noise and vibration.
