Shoot RAW and you won't have to worry about this.  Sure the PhotoLab
software isn't that great, but it is a one click WB adjustment when you make
mistakes.

Yes, RAW files take up a LOT more space.  I can fit 100 JPEGs on one 512MB
CF and only 35 RAW files.  I guess it's a trade off and, because I am not
working pro, if I run out of space it isn't a money losing event like it may
be with you.

BTW, did you get the D-BG1 grip?  It should be your first accessory if only
for the vertical shutter release.
