So it seems one can get used to these things.
Interesting to me, however, how minor differences between
models can nag me if I switch, mid-stream, during shooting.

I own KM, KX, MX, SuperP, and Richo XR-2 bodies.

The Supers are different enough that they go with me by themselves.

The others have niggling little differences. MX, for example: I'm
always trying to find a button instead of the timer lever for DOF.
XR-2: Winder lever MUST be out for the shot, and what would be an
on/off switch on the KX or MX is a battery check.

Any camera I currently own with exposure comp has it on a dial around
the rewind button.

The K2 seems just a little too weird....

What puts me off about the K2 is the ISO/Exposure ring.
Even when you find one where these work, they seem fiddly.
Just how hard are they to get used to?

They work fine if kept properly lubricated (and I suspect much depends on how often their setting is changed - I'm sure they get recalcitrant quicker if left at one ISO setting for a long period of time).
